As I look at my beautiful daughter with her "baby bump," I can't help but to be thankful for life.
As my way of saying "thank you" for giving life, I'm hosting a give away. I'm giving away a maternity apron handmade by myself.
If you or someone you know are expecting to bring new life into this world, please leave a comment telling me what life means to you. I will be using the pattern below. Also, you will have a choice of the two fabrics shown. Please feel free to share this give away with others who may want to enter. This give away will end one week from today on Thursday, November 18th. The winner will be announced early Friday morning here on my blog.
*****Update: My friend Tasha over at He's Everything to Me is joining me in this give away by donating a burp cloth, bib and a nursing cover-up from her etsy shop .
*****Update #2: If you live in/around or plan on visiting the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area, another dear friend has join this give away. Debbie at Farrar's Bistro is donating a complementary lunch for 2.

I thank Jesus for the 4 lives He gave to me, and I would be blessed to win this to bless a new mom.
Thanks for the give away.
I didn't even know there was such a thing as a "maternity" apron.
Life is precious at every stage.
Would love to win this to give to a dear daughter-in-law who is expecting after several miscarriages.
This is a sweet giveaway, I`m a mother of 3 and I have 4 sister who are new mother as well ( we all together have 9 little one 3 years old and under) Yes lots of fun!
SO for us there is always 1 or 2 or 3 of us pregnant at the same time and maternity clothes goes from one to the other!
Life and giving life is a blessing, thinking that from Mama and Papa 12 living being came to life and from 5 of us we have given life to 9 other.
Children are really a blessing from the Lord :-)
Congratulations on being an expectant grandmother! I didn't know your daughter was pregnant. How exciting!
Your daughter looks beautiful, pregnancy suits her! :)
Two ladies in my church are expecting so I thought i'd enter for them! Life is beautiful, especially a pure innocent baby-unstained by the world. New life means a new start, a chance to direct a new person in all the ways you weren't directed, true life is being set apart for His purposes alone.Oh, I long for the day to be a mommy! I pray that until then God will give me the wisdom I will need!

WHAT IS LIFE? IS THE EXCITEMENT OF MY NIECE FUTURE BABY BEING BORN, AND THE JOY THAT AWAITS THAT DAY. LIFE IS A GIFT FROM GOD...THE GIFT IS THE INHERITANCE OF HIS CHILDREN THAT IS GIVEN TO LIFE THE FIRST BREATH OF THE FUTURE BRIDE AND GROOMS OF CHRIST! LIFE IS SHARING THIS JOURNEY OF OUR FAMILIES, SHARING THE CONNECTED BONDS. LIFE IS THE BREATH OF GOD BREATHING INTO US ETERNAL LIFE!

I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and after a 3.5 year battle with infertility and all the trials that go with it, this life means hope to me. There were times where I remember screaming inside my soul to Jesus that I'd been forgotten, given up on, left alone. However, He never leaves us alone! This is the first grandchild on either side for my husband and I and it is such a blessing not only to us, but our families. I'm fairly sure that my mum is stocking away more baby clothes than she's letting on right now in preparation for March when we are due!
My faith never left throughout the pain of infertility, but it took a beating. This life really does give me hope that He sees everything that breaks our hearts, and has only our good in mind. Jesus is amazing and the deep-rooted hope that He brings is the best gift I could ever hope for.
Congrats as well to your daughter! :)
Your daughter is so very beautiful, just like her mom. I am so very happy and excited for you guys!
I love it! :o) Life is the essence of God's love. :o)
Beautiful! I don't know what it is, but it seems like everyone is pregnant right now! LOL!
Dear Jill K! Just wanted to let you know that I have picked you to receive the apron that I "won". I was brought to tears over your post and feel that you deserve it more then me right now as you can put it to good use! :o) And furthermore...it's thanksgiving time and I'm thankful that God is blessing you with a "blessing" :o)
Hello Jill K.
Did you read the latest post from Nabila? She won the apron give away, but was so touched by your story that she is giving it to you. Can you please send me an email to coordinate getting the items to you?
Congratulations Jill!
